About PleadEasy
Voice-first legal drafting and practice management for advocates and small law firms in India's district courts, with deep coverage of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
PleadEasy exists for one problem: a district-court advocate spends more of the day retyping the same documents than arguing them. An advocate records the client conversation with the client's consent, checks the facts the app extracts from it, and gets a court-ready draft in English, Hindi, Tamil or Malayalam, formatted for their own court. Nothing leaves the app until the advocate has read it and approved it.

How the guides are written
Every guide is written against the bare text of the governing statute and the published rules of the courts concerned, and names the provision it relies on so that a reader can check it rather than take it on trust.
The guides describe structure and procedure. They do not supply operative legal wording, and they never invent a statutory citation to fill a gap. Where the answer turns on State legislation, such as court fee, stamp duty or rent control, the guide says so instead of offering a national figure that would be wrong in most States.
Criminal procedure content reflects the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam of 2023, with the corresponding provision of the earlier Code noted where it helps an advocate recognise the section.
Guides carry the date they were last reviewed. Statutes and rules of practice change, and court fee and stamp values are revised by the States; verify before you file.
What the product will not do
- It does not file anything. There is no auto-filing and no auto-send to any court or client.
- It does not let a draft out unreviewed. Export, print, WhatsApp sharing and e-signature are all gated behind the advocate's approval.
- It does not give legal advice. Statutory suggestions are marked as a starting point for the advocate to assess.
- It does not hide uncertainty. Facts the app is unsure it extracted correctly are visibly flagged for the advocate to correct.

Who writes the guides on this site?
They are written and maintained by the PleadEasy team against the bare text of the governing statute and the published rules of the courts concerned, and reviewed against the drafting engine that produces the documents in the product. They state the provision they rely on so that a reader can check them.
Is PleadEasy a law firm, and is this legal advice?
No. PleadEasy is software for advocates. Nothing on this site is legal advice and nothing here creates a lawyer-client relationship. The guides describe court procedure and the contents of common filings for practitioners who are already qualified to make their own judgment about them.
Does PleadEasy file documents on an advocate's behalf?
No. There is no auto-filing and no auto-send. Every draft is held behind a review gate: it cannot be exported, printed, shared on WhatsApp or e-signed until the advocate has read and approved it, and the approval is recorded.
How is client data handled?
Each chamber's data is isolated with row-level security and encrypted in transit and at rest. Retention is aligned to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: raw intake audio can be set to delete automatically once the draft is approved, and the advocate controls the policy. Recording requires an on-screen client consent step before it can begin.
